The rally display area fills up with vehicles returning from Sinsheim. The vintage FBW is in the foreground with the Saurer 3 C-H behind, but in the distance is a familiar site to British eyes: a Bristol Lodekka. The FLF originated with Wilts & Dorset. Its roof has been slightly lowered to the European maximum height of 4 metres. The bus has been modified for use by Kleins Raben Linie as one of several mobile hospitality units. Their website is worth a visit. |

One relatively modern vehicle at Speyer was Neoplan N138/4 Jumbocruiser. It is a testament to Neoplan design that it probably comes as a shock when it is realised that the bendicoach is 28 years old. |
