Reading Buses Optare Spectra The Southsea Spectacular is no more, but in 2003 several interesting vehicles assembled on the Common to enjoy a summer's day at the seaside. Amongst those gathered was one of Reading's new batch of Spectras, 729 (YJ03UKL), well protected from any trees it may have found running off its more familiar routes around Reading.

 An interesting selection o vehicles at Reading depot in July 2007. In the middle one of the newly delivered East Lancs bodied Scania's for Park & Ride duties. On the far side and Optare Spectra with one of the Dennis Trident/Plaxton Presidents acquired second hand from Pete's Travel.
