 A radical departure for Reading Buses went on display at SHOWBUS 2004 in the shape of this newly delivered long wheelbase East Lancs bodied Scania Omnidekka. The new livery is also unusual, variously described, but charcoal and beige seems most suited. The colours were to have been Reading's new standard, with other buses colour coded to match different route allocations. The new fleet of Scanias, a departure from normal supplier, Optare, had yet to enter service in Reading. |
