The company that broke the mould by diversifying from coaching into London bus services
and laying the foundation for one of the biggest operators in the country

448GYR From a different era altogether! 448GYR is seen at Brighton Coach Park in the sixties. It was one of many Bedford VALs with Duple Vega Major coachwork and the the amazing number of 52 seats.
Orange Luxury VAM Orange Luxury Coaches was an active subsidiary of Grey-Green for many years and its livery may have been a contributor to the inspiration for the Grey-Green Buses livery. Indeed the original bus livery used Orange Luxury colours with white replacing the cream.

LGY198K The third major component of the Grey-Green coach fleet was a more recent acquisition - World-Wide coaches. Indeed, when LGY198K was seen at Showbus in 1975, it was not part of the George Ewer (Grey- Green) group. World-Wide were well known as an earlier purchaser of Mercedes vehicles and had some distinctive Plaxton bodied Mercs.

Hedingham & World-Wide Winning entries at Showbus at Hiliingdon, ONK657H, a Plaxton Mercedes with Hedingham's new Leopard.

GMC748J World-Wide all Merecdes GMC748J at Showbus 76.
