2002 sees the centenary of Bournemouth's own bus fleet. Broadly speaking the fleet is still in the same
ownership as it was 100 years ago. To commemorate the occasion, new Volvo B7TL / East Lancs Vyking
Cabryolet (!) 431 (HJ02HFB) has been painted gold and lettered accordingly. The bus is seen at the Southsea
Spectacular before the heavens opened.

"Air Show" was obviously pre-programmed on 431's blind and made a suitable destination for Duxford. The man with the umbrella and the spots on the camera lens show the day was not without the occasional drops of rain!
