Bournemouth Corporation Daimler Fleetline MH Cars A very unusual purchase in 1964 were a pair of Daimler Fleetlines with MH Cars bodywork. They were effectively tagged on to a batch being built for Belfast Corporation. MH Cars in due course became Alexander's Belfast plant. These were the only 2 such vehicles to be delivered to the mainland.
 
Bournemouth Corporation Daimler Fleetline MH Cars MH bodied 41 (ALJ341B) is seen leaving Bournemouth Square.
 
Bournemouth Corporation Daimler Fleetline MH Cars
40 is seen in its "blue" days. The maroon bands had been replaced by blue splashes on the side, but obscured in this view. The MH Cars bodied Fleetline is sandwiched between a pair of Atlanteans: Weymann bodied 176 (AEL176B) and Alexander bodied 252 (ULJ252J).
 
Bournemouth Corporation Daimler Fleetline Alexander Bournemouth 117 (DLJ117L) is seen in Poole Bus Station. The revised front on the Alexander body is noted, less obvious is that this is a Daimler Fleetline whilst 252 above is a Leyland Atlantean.

In 1976 a batch of eight Alexander bodied Fleetlines were delivered: 130-137 (NFX130-7P). This pair were caught in a classic pose by Bournemouth Pier. With its back to us is 132 and heading for Sandbanks is 131.
